Mine didn't work with my network right away. Some setup is required, and this requires some knowledge of networking and, to some extent, Linux. Although I had a hard time getting my computer to work at first, everything went smoothly. MicroTik routers are like Swiss Army knives because you can make them do anything you want with the know-how. I'd skip that and go for one of their cheaper options or something from another brand that's a lot easier to get comfortable with. If you have the know-how or drive if you're new to this, this is absolutely worth buying.
