Tires with Scandinavian tread simply stick to any ice or snow. I have a Toyota 215/50 R17. It's not the first season I've been skating, it will be three years soon. No cracks, no hernias, nothing like that is noticeable during operation. I am completely satisfied with them, especially since these tires are made in Japan.
