I've had this little solar pump for about a week now and it works great! Unfortunately, even with a full charge via the solar panel (in continuous use), the charge is not enough to run all night until the next morning. One thing I wish worked differently is what happens when he dies overnight. It won't turn on the next morning even if charged by the solar panel. I understand this is probably for battery health, but because of this you have to press the button again to turn it back on. This won't be a problem for most, but I decided to put the "pump" in an old coffee container to protect it from the rain. I drilled holes in the sides of the tubing and wire tank. The solar panel's micro USB connector plugs directly into the pump, so I don't know how it's protected in the rain if nothing is covering it. Overall build quality seems really good for the price. Let's see how long this lasts. I will update this review in the future if anything changes.
