The wireless kit is almost as easy as connecting with an HDMI cable. It literally took less than two minutes to get this working (see steps below). Receiver: 1. Connect the receiver to your TV/monitor using the supplied (very) short HDMI cable.2. Powered via the included USB-C/USB-A cable. Please note that they don't provide a power adapter (I used my old iPhone adapter).3. Press the button to the right of the receiver to turn it on.4. You should see a "Startup Screen" with instructions on how to quickly connect (see attached photo). This is very useful instead of having an instruction manual handy. Transmitter (First tested on my laptop): 1. Connect to the HDMI port of the video source.2. If the blue LED does not light up, you need to switch on the transmitter with the supplied cable. I plugged in one of the USB ports on my laptop for this test.3. Press the button on the transmitter to connect. You should be connected in a few seconds. Again, the connection to my TV took less than two minutes with no issues. I've tried several times with the same result. From my point of view it is plug and play. I should mention that the transmitter gets very warm. The receiver also heats up, but not as much as the transmitter. Hopefully this will not affect the longevity of the system. Also, the system comes with a 10-inch HDMI cable, which is pretty much useless, so plan on using your own. I was also able to mirror my iPhone to the TV. However, when streaming media, only the audio portion worked and the screen was blank. This happened constantly with all my streaming apps (Netflix, Prime Video, Vudu, Movies Anywhere and TV). No points are deducted for this though as I doubt that will be the main reason people will buy this kit. I think the main purpose people are getting this product for is to achieve wireless HDMI. I personally will not use iPhone mirroring as I have an AppleTV which is much easier to mirror. After confirming that my test worked, I used it to cut the "wire" from my PS4 Pro. Now he's standing next to me instead of in front of the TV so I can switch Blu-ray discs without getting up (okay, I'll admit I'm lazy). To this day I cannot distinguish the picture/sound quality between this cable and the HDMI cable. So why 4 stars? It gets 5 stars for wireless HDMI and ease of setup/use based on the device alone. However, the product does not include any product warranty or support information. The company's only registered address is in China. So you might be out of luck when Revane's generous return policy ends. I personally wouldn't buy electronics with only a 30 day "warranty" (and zero product support). For that he gets 4 stars. One final note: the receiver is said to support up to 8 transmitters. Again, no information on where/how to buy them...back to the lack of support. I would consider purchasing an additional transmitter if one is reasonably priced (and affordable). If you find my review helpful, please click the helpful button below. Thanks very much!
