I use this wheel for construction site measurements. Driveways, landscaping plans, drainage ditches, etc. Ideal for estimating material usage; I don't need geodetic accuracy anyway. However, the wheel repeats within two inches at a distance of 130 feet. The reset lever was a bit finicky when I first used the product. Sometimes the lever would not fully return (by spring) to its normal position. Then the wheel spins, but the readings of the number don't change. If this happens, simply reset the numbers again and fully release the lever to allow the internal gears to mesh properly. After several uses, the mechanism disintegrated and the reset problem disappeared. So, I think it was probably a passing fluke with my device. The enlarged numbers are easy to see and the stand is handy too. Not having to worry about batteries with this particular device is great. The protective case is a nice bonus; A bike is worth it. highly recommended.
