My old Robinair 15000 weighs about 40 pounds and runs a lot when pumping which I hate. This 15500 is so light, runs smooth and doesn't wobble. I would have given 5 stars if the manual wasn't so bad. The manual shows all the external service parts but never explains the function of the exhaust fitting. Some users even think it is an oil filler plug. This section then tells you how to properly turn off the pump, including 3 or more steps, except it never says when to turn off the power switch. Many users have complained about the poor user manual. I propose that the company demote those responsible for management. Edited: Having used it on a 3 mini split system installation, I can confirm that the pump does its job perfectly: no oil consumption; It went back to 80 microns in less than 15 minutes with a tight connection using copper tubing instead of a rubber hose, although I only changed the oil once in a month working on a 3 unit installation. It just has a very poor, obscure manual.
