These gloves do a great job of keeping out the heat from my hair dryer. My hair gets hot and I can grab my hair with this glove after drying. However, my hair is silky like a baby's, thin and not easy to grasp with a gloved hand. I almost regret buying the glove. This will probably work better for those with thicker hair or those who use it to curl their hair with a wand or curling iron.
