Fair enough 5 stars. But a fool can turn it into a 1 star product.
It WORKED GREAT! The first time I used them I used up over half the garbage bags. But I've learned that once the main packaging is opened (it's a very thick 5-7.5 mil plastic bag) the remaining O2 scavengers are almost ineffective unless vacuum packed and sealed as soon as possible. It took me 10-15 minutes to vacuum and reseal the remaining unused bag. Once I started using them, I noticed that they never got hot, let alone as hot as the first time I used them. So, lesson learned. By the way, there was an O2 indicator on the packaging, which was clearly visible, but I can't remember checking what it said a second time.
