For a major overhaul, my father recommended investing in a good SDS drill. He has had his Bosch SDS for 12 years and it still works. I wanted a hammer and drill in one, so I bought a RH328VCQ to replace the chuck. If you don't need this option, just get the RH328VC and save some money. For some reason the RH328VCQ doesn't come with a keyless chuck adapter in the US, but it does in Europe. I have family across the pond so I was able to order an adapter through Revain UK for around $90. I included a link here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000R5H3IA/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me= There are many companies that ship to the US. Part number 2608572212. All in all this is an amazing set that cuts through concrete like a hot knife through butter. We've used it to lift ceramic tile and linoleum tile, drill basement walls, drill holes in panels for installation, and fasten studs and baseplates to foundation. Our carpenter loves this hammer drill and won't drag his Milwaukee out of the truck again. I would say if you are looking for something that you will use fairly regularly then check out this model. It's powerful and handles most tasks with relative ease.
