When Chihuahuas want to sleep with their mother, I put them down so they don't get up. The little ones are a bit big for a chihuahua but that's ok. Nice plastic back so no crashes unless they miss the pad. I've had other washable pads where the backing washes out fairly quickly. They seem more substantial, I expect them to last longer. The only negative is the colour, I can't always tell when they've been used so I throw them in the washing machine anyway. I don't tumble dry, I just lay them out and they dry quickly. The instructions say they can be dried, but I'm sure this will shorten their lifespan.
