I mostly do bicycle cable and cable up to 1/8" these cutters do that stuff just great, no frays nice and even. I can see them doing thicker cable up to the rated thickness.They feel well made and after all the times I have used them no dulling has occurred.I think these are a good alternative for people that don't want to spend top dollar on the much more expensive ones especially if not used on an everyday all day basis.Something too note the first pair I received was used and visibly damaged cutter end. It's unclear how that happened but it would not be the first time this has happened with ebay fulfilled items. I just went through the normal return process and received a brand new pair very quickly without issue.
