Looking forward to installing this new rack on my ATV. The item was well packaged and arrived in good condition. The parts do not fit together properly as they are clearly not to specification. Comparing one side to the other you could see that the holes in the tube were drilled in the wrong places and it was something I couldn't easily fix myself. The holes on BOTH sides weren't drilled in the right places, but one side was much larger than the other. Also: in one of the lower sections was a bar that was clearly twisted and not welded properly (it fit snug and tight at one end but had a big gap at the other) but instead of breaking or fixing it they moved on and the detail completed, packed and sent. Zero quality control. Made in China. Despite all that, I want this carrier for my car, so I'm sending it back and asking for an exchange (although I have a bad feeling I'll regret it). Very disappointed. FOLLOWING 11/07/13 - Received my replacement stand. Quality control was better on this one, but still not up to scratch. At least this one is properly connected. The welds are tiny and look fragile. The finish is good. Fastening hardware was useless on my 2012 Honda Rancher 420 as the U-bolts are VERY short. I was able to secure my rack with electrical cable ties, it looks great and doesn't budge. This stand is BIG, just what I wanted. I would rate this frame 3 stars due to the small welds which I suspect won't last very long. (I found one already hacked right out of the box.) Good luck if you decide to buy one of these, it's a gamble. Oh yes, I almost forgot; I have no idea why this rack is called "collapsible", nothing like that. I'm still scratching my head about this.
