Foam failed after 1 6th grade girls easy game and 3 workouts

I originally liked the price and size but the foam failed (separated or permanently dented?) in a pillow after only one light volleyball ball For a 6th grade girl, one game and 3 drills left her knee exposed. I wish I had invested more for better protection; now useless for volleyball.
