I play games but this was more for day trading so I didn't want to spend too much on a bigger monitor. I also have the previous model from Viotek, gn32dr. As for 2, I like the picture quality and brightness of this model, but the stand is definitely of lower quality. The old model was a tripod that took up a lot of desk space but was RELIABLE. The thing never moved or wobbled. This model is just a stand with two legs and a monitor while the train passes my house. Although it has some movement, it's not a problem if you think it's going to fall over or something; It's just not as stable as the previous model. That being said, it was about $70 cheaper than this model, so investing in a mount could be a way to fix that if that's an issue for you. No dead pixels, it was up and running in about 5 minutes. I would definitely buy this again. Viotek is a budget brand with good quality and high refresh rate without spending over $400 + 3 year dead pixel warranty which made me feel comfortable with this purchase. The reading was picky and not things I would worry about like 4ms vs 1ms response and brightness which I can't fault. The image quality suits me and my budget. No complaints after 2 weeks of use. I will update if anything changes
