Review on Dorman 673 439 Integrated Catalytic Converter by Maurice Strawther

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fits, sensors fit

Originally purchased in 2016. It fits, the sensors fit and everything was smooth when new, it just suffers from the same problem as the stock header. . It has been less than 2 years and the manifold cracked after about 40-60k miles. It's cast iron, so I expected it to crack, but assumed it would last at least 100,000 miles. If you need a more permanent solution, I suggest upgrading your entire exhaust system to stainless steel and moving the catalytic converter under the car. I live in California so everything has to be CARB compliant which makes the parts more expensive and I really don't want to waste over $400 and haphazardly wasting a few hours a day for a year replacing something that does shouldn't break every 2 years. For those who don't do their own repairs, troubleshooting is even more expensive. It would be nice if Dorman only sold the top as I need it and the catalytic converter underneath works fine, but hey, this is business.
