Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Improved Blue Ox BXW2000 SWAYPRO Weight Distributing Hitch with 2000lb Tongue Weight for Standard Coupler Featuring Convenient Clamp-On Latches by Michael Skerving

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comes with a 2.5 x 2.5 stem which is not standard on trucks

So I got this stabilizer bar kit about a month ago. I opened the box and everything was there everything is good so tonight I set up the truck and trailer and prepared to tow the closed trailer on a long journey and WOW! I have a 2.5 x 2.5" shaft in the box which is non standard and will not power my F-250 6.0 Diesel Factory 2" x 2". Hitch oh my god I was pissed so I went to the blue ox website and they even have an after hours phone number that left a message and the blue ox lady called me back maybe 15 minutes later and i told her whats going on and she told me that the BXW2000 comes with 2.5 shanks and 1500lb kits and a standard 2x2 inch shank she was very cool and sent me a standard 7 hole shaft with a tag to send another one back FREE. , so I hope someone reads this and doesn't make the same mistake, because it doesn't say 2.5 x 2.5 shank anywhere. Update Got a stem replacement today and hooked up this bad guy to a 20k ball https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004R33KUI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Dude what a huge difference. I've tried rocking it, but the Sway Pro puts the trailer back in place, a completely different ride comes with it. Here's also a tip for hitching and unhitching the Blue Ox, first hitch the mounted trailer to the ball, then lock the hitch on the ball, then apply more pressure with the trailer jack and even raise the hitch a bit, which is what this does results They loosen the chains and make them easier to block. After locking them, lower the jack and the chains are very tight and the bars are slightly bent. Tension, but be careful unhooking, I hope this helps some of you.
