Although this atomizer is nothing special, it works like a charm. I cleaned it inside and out upon arrival and let it dry for a few days before using it. I filled it with high temp nut oil for frying and use it daily. Auto ignition with a few pulls on the trigger. This device sprays in a semi-liquid and dense mist, so you need to keep it away from the target for a good spray. My first job was getting a good browning of small swordfish steaks and it worked great with a good cover in a skillet. Before flipping, I sprayed the exposed sides again and flipped them over. Needless to say, the pecan oil did the trick and I got a nice sealing crust on the outside while keeping the medium-hard fish flesh on the fork moist and tender on the inside. This atomizer did the job perfectly, good coverage with little to no oil loss. . It was also nice to rub without a brush.
