Review on Efficiently Connect Copper Pipes with SharkBite 22222 0000LFA Valve by Fort Steffen

Perfect replacement for a 42 year old stop valve soldered to copper pipe

Ball valve arrived a day early; Thanks, I'm by no means a plumber and don't usually like to fix plumbing, but this made it really easy. / output type; It was soldered onto the 3/4" copper pipe for the water heater because I wanted to shut off the cold water supply to the water heater to flush the water heater and water started splashing out of the valve! would be the best choice. I don't like playing along brazed copper tubing, so I went with this Sharkbite 3/4" ball valve. It is said to work with copper as well as other pipes or hoses. I boiled off the old valve and sanded both ends of the copper so there was no solder left; then clicked on the new ball valve and turned on the main lock. I was surprised I could do that and there was no leak anywhere! That works great! And I can rotate the knob where I need it for easy access. I can wholeheartedly recommend this push-to-connect ball valve.
