At first I wanted to use the bolt and nut provided, that would work. I cut the bolt to the desired length and used Loctite threadlocker (red) to ensure the nut wouldn't come loose. I later replaced the bolt with a class 8 pin and washer held in place by an E-clamp. It ran very quietly and should never vibrate. I would suggest using a little heavy oil (diff oil) on the jackscrew as it now spins faster than it would by hand. I would recommend it to anyone, it's an easy upgrade. Don't forget to put an impact wrench or wrench handle and wrench head back into the machine after changing the drive. I was able to change all wheels from winter to summer tires in about 45 minutes.
