My husband has been using a large boar's hair brush for decades, and won't consider getting a different brush. This one is lighter and smaller than his old one, but it's plenty large enough to get the job done! It's comfortable to hold, and feels very sturdy.It's not designed for long, curly, thick hair (which is what I have - hair down to my waist) but I tried it anyway. It feels great and smooths my hair nicely when I'm putting it back in a ponytail, but it is not great for a primary brush to get all the tangles and knots out of my hair. That's not anything against the brush. It's not designed for my type of hair.My husband loves it for everyday use, and I love it for smoothing my hair back into clips or ties. I expect this brush will be around for a very long time!
