This is a great 365nm UV light for the price it is sold for. not a diffused light (it doesn't have a spotlight), but a floodlight, and it can illuminate a large area very effectively. Also, it is less bright compared to Convoy C8 or uvBeast 356nm for various reasons. It may not be as bright (more LEDs, LED type used, battery type, fully charged or not). 18650 batteries are not protected, so for safety reasons you should replace batteries with protected 18650 batteries (you can no longer buy 18650 batteries in the US as they are "unsafe"). Hidden feature not mentioned or forgotten to be removed; Similar to regular Alonefire H42 flashlight, if you press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds, the flashlight will start the flash, now you have 365nm flash UV light, cool! Here are some ideas this UV flashlight can be used for: - Black Light Parties - Animal Urine Detection - Car Repair - Fluorescent Minerals Display Case - Antique Uranium Glass Display Case - Home/Hotel/Motel Inspection - Video & Imaging & Convoy C8 or uvBeast 365nm as a litter would be ideal in my opinion. I personally don't recommend this for scorpion hunting though and would suggest the 395nm UV light instead as it provides more visible light so you can see your surroundings. There might be snakes, spiders, and other potentially dangerous creatures around, and you want them to be easier to spot, especially in the dark.
