I ordered on March 18th, it arrived on April 10th. My first reaction was that it was kinda cheap. But after trying to find one of these types of basses and speaking to a few pet store owners, it's one of the few bargains. He said nobody wants to do them anymore. Everything goes to China. So now that I've got everything assembled, the little bird is fine. I have a green cheek kennel. Not good for a long-tailed bird like my plumhead because it's a short perch. that I wanted that. I really wish they had included a few more screws and bolts. Especially hex nuts. One refused to install any of the screws. Also, there were no instructions, and while it doesn't look complicated, here are some tips. Use the image here as a guide as you create it. You will need a small pair of pliers and a small screwdriver. I didn't have a Phillips head, but my straight line worked fine. Furthermore, the plastic parts have an inside and an outside. The outward facing portion has a thin, removable plastic protective cover. So remove these before you start, but be careful not to scratch the parts as you work. The "L" brackets have a barely noticeable long side. This part rests on a plastic frame and not under the bowl as you might think. I thought it would because it would give the bowl holder more support. But no. Follow my example here. Wooden dowels have holes on either end that accept screws (4 per set). The holes are not drilled exactly in the middle. At first I was like "oh my god" because everything shook when I was done. BUT when I tighten all the nuts and bolts with a wrench everything fits together and surprisingly balances right on the table surface. Mine looks the same as the picture but the frame A colors are red and the pole is yellow. In general I'm happy. It's probably quite expensive for what it is, but given that you won't easily, if ever, find another similar one (please tell me if so), it was a good buy. I gave it 3 stars for no direction, no extra bolts/screws and it took 3 weeks to get here.
