Review on Kurt S Adler 11 Inch Nutcracker by Paula Rodriguez

Kurt Adler Nutcrackers used to be a collector's item, I don't see that quality anymore. Aside from the fact that it arrived broken (neither the box nor the foam insert were damaged), it is of very poor quality even for being made in China. There are globs of hot glue, bits and pieces like the trim at the top, the beard, the curve. The beads glued to the bottom of the fur coat are missing in four places and look as if they weren't there, because there is no residue of glue, there were no loose beads in the box, and that's not how it should be, not that. on the right place to be part of any design. The streaks are horribly uneven, the stick is bent and the color is uneven and poor quality. It looked really beautiful in the picture, it was two days before Christmas and now I have to rummage around because it was a gift for my mother, it's the only thing she asks for every year and I couldn't find any store that has one I went. Unfortunately, this is by no means a gift. So upset.
