Endless learning with this phone!

My kids had 3 of these and they are essential in our home. My oldest got it when he was about 6 months old. He loved it so much that by the time he and his little brother were old enough to really appreciate them, one just wasn't enough. I had to buy a second one so they could both use one. They had two for a while until the first one finally broke from being thrown around too much. That went on for about 3 1/2 years which is great for us as my boys are pretty destructive when it comes to their toys. I just bought another one and now they have two more. I love them so much because they help me learn letters and numbers. There are tons of little games your kids can play on it and it seems endless fun. But the best thing for me is that he has a range of contacts: father, mother, grandfather, grandmother and friend. You can enter your own numbers for each contact and they can then pretend to call them and it will show the number they are calling. If you have entered your personal phone numbers, your children can remember your phone numbers. My 4 and 2 year olds know my number, their dad's number and their granddad's number! This is a great skill to use in real life in an emergency. For that reason alone I think it's a great toy. There is so much learning potential in this one and it holds up really well for spreading. I will buy them as long as my kids are interested in them and as long as I need them until they eventually break. So far, however, the need to replace only one every 3 1/2 years is a sign of excellent quality. Everyone should have a toy!
