Suitable for group meals
Today I served lunch for 9 people and used these plates in the self-service line. They're not very thick, but none of the plates were bent or sagged during dinner. I served fried Tex-Mex beans, rice, and my signature five-layer enchiladas (home-made beef, gravy, home-made corn tortillas, and 3 cheeses layered and baked like lasagna). This is a heavy, solid meal for a group of people doing physical labor in a historic adobe building. Let people hold each meal separately and still hold them well enough for a few seconds.
