Update: After removing the tray and examining it I found I could help eject it if needed. It takes an uncomfortable amount of force to push the disc out of the joints. This appears to be partly due to the very narrow ports, but also partly because the drive slides sideways and gets caught on the rails. As a result, the door bends a lot. The eject lever and link lever are metal, but the door and the mounting hole on the door are plastic. I'm keeping it but don't expect it to last long. First review: I never post videos though. I don't know what to do with it. My desktop computers have many hot swappable bays. That's the first thing that's completely stuck. I think it should come back?
