In theory these are great products and in this case a quality product. However, I have found that the distance between the spring and the two screws is critical. If they are too close together, the spring tension can cause the drive system to "jump" which can be a big problem when used in a precision application (which is the point of this product). So take your time and make sure that (1) there is at least 1/2 inch clearance between the two screws and this clearance will not cause any skipping issues for your application.
