Bought for my son and I to go snowmobiling. They worked great! It's a little tricky to hook up communicators and get intercoms working. Follow the instructions carefully and be patient. Once for two. works cool! Mounting on helmets was easy. Keeps the wind out well (device and antenna outside of the helmet). All this worked without any problems at temperatures of 5 to 15 degrees above zero. What about quality and distance in the real world? They are crystal clear from 300 to 500 yards. You don't have to be alone to be clean. If there are trees between you, e.g. B. on a winding path, this is fine as long as you are within 300-500 meters. Going up a steep hill shortens the distance and gets prickly, but this is temporary. They can communicate up to 1/2 mile (800 yards) away. but in the 500 to 800 yard range it gets prickly and risky. If you're tobogganing with a buddy or in a group, you're likely to be within 500 meters most of the time, so you won't find a better communicator for the money. What about speaking time? We turned it on at 8:30am and left it on until 5:30pm on a full charge. Worked all day, not burned out, no problems! We are glad to have them and look forward to a great snowmobile season with them!
