Review on 🏞️ Honeywell Ceiling Fans 50503-01 Royal Palm 52" Bronze Ceiling Fan: The Perfect Blend of Style and Performance by Rachel Johnson

I've installed a dozen (+/-) ceiling fans in the past and this fan is very easy to install. I didn't have to balance the blades and installing the jig was easy too. We love its aesthetic and the lighting kit provides ample light in my 17x12 dining room (mounted directly above the table). However, the fan has a very noticeable noise. Hum on the first pass in the highs and a lower, less noticeable buzz in the mids. I installed it as per the instructions, checked that the connection is correct, I DO NOT use a dimmer (per the troubleshooting instructions) and even tested it on a separate circuit and location, but the buzzing continued. I don't think the problem was caused by incorrect assembly. It's also worth noting that the noise occurred with or without the light attachment. I later found that after about 15 minutes of running the fan, the buzzing subsided; at medium almost imperceptible and at high very low. However, the hum returns periodically during operation and then subsides again. I hope that with time it will completely disappear. I kept the fan for its looks and it's good enough for its location and purpose to be a mid-range device.
