. My 2005 Yamaha Road Star clutch started to slip at highway speeds. I ordered a barnet clutch to replace an OEM spring clutch. The replacement is precision made and fits perfectly. Installation is very easy, removing and replacing took about two hours. Be sure to remove any old gasket and replace with a new one. I used some blue Permitex to make sure it didn't leak. Oil changed and driven. The bike rides like any other bike. The friction point on the clutch is different and the force on the clutch lever is not as great. About 10% more if I had to guess. No more spinning at freeway speeds. I have made many modifications to my bike and wish I had done it sooner.
