America's Test Kitchen rated this as their favorite pepper grinder. It is easily adjustable, if desired it goes from fine grinding to coarser grinding. Holds half a cup of regular sized peppercorns, is easy to fill and looks good too. We liked it so much we bought another one for sea salt. Now we have two of them, one for salt and one for pepper. You can see from the photos that you only have to remove the lid to fill it and simply put it back on after filling. The other photo shows the basic settings. There are 6 of them and you can see each setting from fine to ultimate from top left to right depending on your preferences. We can definitely recommend this pepper mill. ***** Update 01/12/2020 **** A year later we still love our salt and pepper grinders.
