These beautiful ceramic snack sets are just what I wanted. They are actual portion sizes, not giant "American" portions, so don't expect anything too big. But they're just right for packing soup or fries in the bowl and crackers or half a sandwich in the side compartment. These parts are thick and heavy, not brittle, and seem to hold up well for a long time. They have a small handle on one end that makes them easy to carry. I ordered the red/cream combo and am now tempted to order another color combo to complete the set.
