I used this with an IBM ThinkPad docking station connected to two 1080p monitors via DisplayPort (I believe this requires "Lightening" technology). I was worried this might not work as you seem to compromise for some reason when it comes to these USB-C cables and wasn't sure if I had one checked with the right options. Also, I've read that the performance falls apart after a few meters of cable without an "active" cable. But this one doesn't appear to be an active cable and works well with my docking station and two DisplayPort monitors, as well as my laptop's power supply. In the end I was skeptical because of the low price. Looks like all the features I was hoping for are there with no losses. I am very glad I made this purchase and have since bought 2 more! Looking for faults - the cable is a bit stiff, which I suppose should be expected anyway (can actually consider this a positive thing when I think about it more).
