Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Polly Plastics Moldable Plastic Pellets (10 oz) - Ideal for Cosplayers and Hobbyists | EZ Grip Jar with Idea Booklet by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for fixing random things around the house; just like InstaMorph but much cheaper!

I bought this mainly to fix a broken part in my fridge (which worked great btw). Now I'm thinking of a million different fun things to do with everyone else! Polly Plastics is made from polycaprolactone, a plastic with a melting point of 140 degrees F (60 C). That means you can easily melt it in hot (not even boiling) water and then immediately pour it into a mold while it's still hot without burning. It's easy to work with (and fun!). After cooling, it becomes strong and flexible (and is even used for medicinal purposes, such as replacing teeth!). Polycaprolactone is the same substance used in InstaMorph, probably the most well-known brand of these products. However, Polly Plastics was the cheapest per ounce I could find online. You can use InstaMorph pigment packs with Polly Plastics if you wish as the only difference between the two brands is their name (and price).

Pros
  • CREATE, FIX AND MODIFY - Use for all types of crafts, art projects, home renovations, model making, prototyping and more. Extruders, molds or epoxy systems are not required.
Cons
  • Some bugs
