I bought these bulbs because of the design. They work best when they are above your head and pointing down. The "filament" of LEDs is oriented so that the light is directed toward the end of the bulb. For example, if you B. in a wall light, most of the light is directed to the ceiling instead of out into the room. This isn't necessarily good or bad, but it's something to consider when making your purchase. These lamps emit a very yellow tone of light. I was expecting this based on a 2200K color temperature, but again this is something to look out for when purchasing. I really like the design and it fits very well with the look I wanted to achieve with them.
