Purchased to listen to professionally recorded training lectures in CD-RW format. I chose because the listing said it was compatible with those CDs. When I received it the instructions said some recorded CDs might not play and there was no guarantee it would play. Thus, the device looks very nice and plays music perfectly. The sound quality is lower than a boombox at a comparable price because the speakers are smaller. But nothing to complain about at all. I give it to someone and start over.
