I installed this in my daughter's small bathroom. Replaced the noisy ugly built-in wall heater with a yellowed 70's plastic cover. This new heater does an excellent job of heating this small space. Will probably work in large rooms. I didn't have a plug-in thermostat, I just use the eWeLink app to set the on/off schedule. Installing the app definitely made me feel like I was sharing all of my personal information with China. but I'm pretty sure they already got it. Bought the version with the glass heat shield. Feels nice and warm but doesn't burn my baby when she touches it with her hand. I also think it looks very nice. The photos don't really convey that. Now for two important points: 1. Smell. Yes. It's terrible. I actually left it boxless on my back porch for over two months (I was gutting and remodeling the entire bathroom and I was busy with my daily chores so my project was shelved). got me ready to install and the smell was STILL strong. Correction? I put it in the garage and plugged it in. Drive for two days (turned off for the night). The smell is gone. No problem. I feel sorry for the people who hung it on the wall and started right away. It would definitely be overwhelming. Do yourself a favor, unpack it outside, then plug it in outside, in a garage/shed, etc. Make it work. have a beer Drink moderately for a few days and when you come back it will be like rain. 2. Customer Service. I'm shocked. EconoHome Inc blows me away with their fast and fantastic customer service. As mentioned above, I unpacked the heater and left it for a few months. It wasn't until I went to install that I realized I was missing the plastic brackets that hold the glass heat shield in place. I'm 99% sure I threw them away with the packaging. I didn't have much luck contacting the company over the phone, but Revain gave me an email address and EconoHome responded very quickly. Even though I told them I probably threw away the parts, they sent me a new kit free of charge. Even sent me a follow up email after the parts arrived to make sure I was ok. blown away A few other wall heaters in my house need replacing and I will definitely pick up these convection heaters and will definitely buy from EconoHome.
