Review on New Balance 1165V1 Walking Silver Men's 👟 Shoes - Supreme Comfort and Style for Active Men by Josh Fox

It wasn't what I expected at all. They fit well and are a good shoe, but the hype and reviews about how 'soft' they are are misleading in my opinion. The soft foam in the inner lining is about 3/16 of an inch, and the Fresh Foam midsole feels just as minimal. It has very little arch support and no midfoot support. I think these are the first shoes I've bought in 30 years that didn't feel great on my foot from the start including the Florsheim Riva shoes which I wear every day. My old worn Skechers are much softer to run than this. and even my even older Merrill Moab trail running shoes have better cushioning. coming from very durable running shoes like my New Balance running shoes which are almost stiff then they can feel soft. Luckily the lining comes out and I can put some old (dog chewed) custom orthotics in. They have way more padding than this show and of course all the support they need.
