Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhanced Support and Flexibility with McDavid Elastic Sleeve Figure Straps by Doug Hinrichsen

Not bad, but I found it better.

I think you need to try a lot of different kneeling devices and different people will find certain styles that suit them best. I've tried many different styles; Over-the-counter AFO, custom AFO, fully laced ankle wrap, and multiple elastic ankle cuffs with figure-of-eight straps for foot containment. In particular, I find the elasticated ankle cuffs to be the best combination of being discreet, relatively comfortable to wear, providing support for the foot, functioning with all my existing shoes, and being easy on and off. I think AFOs are the worst, they were probably designed 100 years ago and the design hasn't changed since then. This is my second favorite ankle cuff. Unlike my favorite case, the Velcro on this case is so tight that it's difficult to open again. On this particular sleeve, a hook and loop fastener interlocks, with one of the hook and loop fasteners facing outwards due to the construction. Many reviewers think this is a bug, but it isn't, that's how this method works. My favorite sleeve has longer, more elastic bands that fit on the sleeves themselves rather than each other and this allows me to have two figure eight wraps and more support. The velcro on my favorite is also much easier to put on and take off. My favorite is the SENTEQ TPR gel medical ankle brace.
