I bought this to wear under my Bell helmet to prevent bugs/bees from getting stuck in my (sparse haha) hair as the vents in my helmet are quite large . Living in a region where it's very warm and dry, the hat is great for what I initially planned. However, I didn't expect any additional benefits. Use a ton of baby wipes to wipe the sweat off the helmet pads, just a few on the straps to keep salt from building up. The seams (front and back) are perfectly positioned, eliminating pressure points on the inside of the last. All you really need to know is where it is on your forehead. I placed it as low as possible so the 3/4 inch seam at the base would not mark after 2 hours of riding. I wash them in cold water with Woolite or Baby Shampoo and then let them air dry. The size of my head (M) is 55-59 cm, it fits perfectly, the size is universal, I will buy more so that they are at hand.
