Good quality, comfortable, absorbs sweat, fits easily under a helmet. The lack of a drawstring or switch like some beanies have under a helmet makes it easy to fit under my helmet. Light color is good to reflect sunlight. I have a big head and this hat fits tight - it'll get even tighter. I suspect the elastic will loosen over time so the fit is just right.

I need something to wear under my bike helmet so I don't burn my head and have recently switched to these athletic skullcaps instead of the traditional headscarf. So far this is the best. It breathes well, the material feels nice, protects and cools the head. The quality is very good and I'm sure I'll use it for at least one season (I drive 5-6k miles a year). Highly recommended.

For those who don't have hair to protect their head from the sun, this is a great option. I wear mine when I ride. It's very thin, light weight, wicks sweat well, cools my head and being white it reflects light well. It washes well and dries quickly. It doesn't change the way your helmet sits on your head, your helmet's aerodynamics, or the airflow over your head. I have two white and one black for cold weather.

fits great! The wicks are sweaty but not hot. I wore it on Memorial Day when I rode a road bike 47 miles. I usually sweat through my headbands and have to change them. I bought this to wear under my Bell helmet to prevent bugs/bees from getting stuck in my (sparse haha) hair as the vents in my helmet are quite large . Living in a region where it's very warm and dry, the hat is great for what I initially planned. However, I didn't expect any additional benefits.
