I've had them for 2 months now and wear them on a moose hunt in Colorado where I ran 100 miles. I also took them with me and wore them in waders for duck hunting on the Mississippi, pheasant hunting on the plains, and hiking in the rugged terrain of western Wisconsin. They are robust, warm and wick sweat well. They are also comfortable in all types of boots and stand up very well to the abuse of friction in loose boots such as waders or rubber boots. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. For comparison, they're not as thick as wool socks, but by no means the glorified tube socks. As soon as you put them on you will feel that they are well padded where they should be and ventilated where they should be.
