Not suitable for those with hips under 37 inches. My hips are 35 inches in circumference and there is an extra pair of tiny inches. This skirt can be folded up without threading the ruffle through the hole in the waistband (and therefore forcing it to gather, which is unflattering). See photos. The opening of the zip tie hole is half the width of the zip tie itself, so it must be folded over and not lay flat. When I tied it without the hole (since typical wrap skirts need to hold it in place), the amount of overlapping fabric leaves half of the front ruffles hidden and the other half in an odd spot on my body. Because it overlapped so much it was also difficult to move easily as with this type of fabric (no stretch) it restricted leg movement. The pattern is nice in blue but the fabric is quite wrinkled.
