Review on Western Guitar Fender CD-60S Black by Mateusz Rzeczycki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

I repeat, an excellent guitar for the money, if its brother is not more expensive than $320. Not big, not very sonorous, but for that, not nasal, like most dreadnoughts, which are littered with stores. With native strings 12-gauge plays quite well. The deck has several resonances, most actively responding to the F# of the 4th string. The system holds clearly, but because of the high frets, it is better not to overdo it with clamping the strings. The fret processing leaves much to be desired, but it does not interfere with the game. So at the very first change of strings, ideally, it would not be bad to tap the frets and grind / polish.

Pros
  • Great guitar for your money. A full size 4/4 with a good sounding top and very good sustain. The build is holding up well.
Cons
  • X-shaped springs, whimsical to the tension of the strings, well, let's see how quickly the stand, along with the springs, starts to turn out. If the springs were at least I-shaped, like those of Leningradka, it would be much better. Plays only on native 12-gauge strings, I do not advise you to set thinner ones.
