Good and bad.

This is a good option if you are new to sous vide or do not plan to use sous vide often due to toxins. For the money this is good value but has a few issues. First, it looks like the company is no longer in business. If you visit the website printed on the product packaging, there is no website. It's just that the host is trying to resell the URL. I discovered this the hard way when I couldn't find a Wi-Fi app for this device. Although they say it has Wi-Fi, technically it's possible, but you can't use it because the app doesn't exist. If I ever come across the app I will update this review. The lack of WiFi isn't as bad as it sounds, as no other sous vide immersion thermostat in this price range also has WiFi. Just don't buy this device just because it 'says' it has Wi-Fi or you will be very disappointed. In addition, this device can be easily operated manually. However, I have to note that this sous vide immersion thermostat is a bit noisy. When I first turned it on, it sounded like a boat engine. After about the first hour of use, it quieted down a bit, but not by much. There is also a grinding noise which is odd because there is nothing to grind. It looks like it's just a bad propeller design. My previous immersion thermostat was a ChefSteps Joule, which unfortunately only lasted a few years, although it was very well made. I haven't had a chance to test the temperature accuracy of this submersible circulator, but I will and will update this review with that information. For the money this is good value, just know its limitations before you buy it.
