Good and inexpensive kit. An important detail of these little SDRs is that they generate A LOT OF HEAT. I measured about 250mA (1W) in normal operation. I don't recommend plugging them directly into USB ports. At first glance this seems like a good idea since the USB assembly is metal and can dissipate some of the heat. However, the connections are made of plastic on the inside and are subjected to high temperatures, which they are not designed for. It is better to mount them via OTG cables and place them on a piece of metal that will serve as a heatsink.
