I am buying this item for my 5 wheel trailer. I wanted the wireless system behind my van to see why I was pulling it. I opted for continuous power as long as the navigation lights are on. I tested the system before installation to make sure everything was working properly, and it was. I love that it has a window sucker for the video screen so I can move it whenever I want. Installation took about 30 minutes after carefully reading the instructions. See section #12 on modes and settings in the guide. The camera quality is good in day mode, but the image is a bit grainy in night vision, but it is black and white at night. Overall the price was great, the system works well, the wifi is good and only time will tell when the camera is exposed to the elements. If you need a decent and cheap device, then this is what you need.
