Review on 🚧 Kidco G1200 47.5 Inch Extra Tall and Wide Auto Close Child and Pet Pressure Mount Gate by Kim Scott

Just terrible. Nothing is more frustrating than taking everything out of the box and beginning assembly before discovering a crack in the "strong steel construction". There is no way we would allow this to protect our child from falling down the stairs. However, we attributed it to a shipping accident and tried again. This time the gate latch was offset about 2 inches from where it was supposed to close. Tired of fiddling with it, we bent it into place and then spent a Saturday morning reading instructions and adding a few extensions. The end result was a gate so wobbly a child could knock it over (pretty sure this was exactly the opposite of the product's intent). I don't think we did anything wrong, my husband is a mechanical engineer which is usually his forte. I am returning it for a refund but the only way I would ever order from this company again is if they gave me a check for our wasted time and paid for a family counseling session. Your KidCO move.
