I recently bought a Benefix Prodigy Case that is absolutely beautiful in nature but only allows an external 5.25 slot. The case has USB 3.0 on the side, but it comes with a USB 2.0 adapter so you can use that instead of USB 2.0. I used USB 2.0 on the case and connected these two for USB 3.0. I do a lot of computer repairs, and while I love my BlacX USB 3.0 Hard Drive Adapter, nothing beats good old-fashioned SATA speeds. The front hard drive is hot-swappable if your motherboard supports it (and it's enabled in the BIOS). Very handy to scan for viruses, check for bad sectors, etc., at very high speeds. The slim DVD drive slot requires an adapter ranging from laptop sized SATA connectors to full sized connectors. It's a shame it doesn't come with it (or that it's not just built in), but once you've bought an adapter you can plug whatever you want in there. Personally, I just found a thin DVDrw DL SLOT loader on FleaBay for $29 (since Revain only offers $69-79). And that's it! I love this thing and it allows me to do what my previous 3 slots did in my last case, all in one. This thing would be absolutely perfect if they could figure out how to put a universal card reader in there somewhere, but I'll let them figure it out. :)
