In the first year of kid-pitch, my 10 year old son needed some sunglasses as our field faces right into the west if you're looking toward the batter (particularly hard on 1B, 2B, and RF).

These keep my blue-eyed boy from near-blindness on those days (so they increase his safety!) and they look cool, which he loves.Haven't swapped out the lenses yet (he likes the mirrored rainbow style), but it's nice to know there's at least the smoke gray available should those get scratched or broken. Not real sure that the yellow or light blue are of much use except in extremely specialized circumstances.Knocked them one star because of the "fit".they creak a bit at the temple joints and seem like they'd snap if you cranked on them too hard.treat them with care and I have every expectation they'll last for the season, at least.
